Top 3 Adventure Spots Our Brands Love To Explore

There's no doubt that an epic sense of adventure is what drives many of our brands and their consumers alike. From the total NZ-ness of RPM, the exploratory nature of fisherwear brand Salty Crew, to the bright, colourful and versatile designs of Crocs, we love to see where our favourite brands choose to venture. This week, we've done some digging and discovered the most exciting places our brands have been spotted lately!

Mike - Director: I adventure at Great Barrier Island!

From my first trip as a frothing surf adventurer in my early 20’s, I fell in love with this wild & awesome island. The sprawling native bush clad mountains, deserted beaches & stony bays with crystal clear water all drew me in. I felt connected, it felt like home. Over 20 years later the place is just the same. Its beauty & appeal is obvious. Raw unspoiled nature. It’s almost cliché of what the best of NZ is.

But as grand & influential as the Barrier's external factors are, it’s the internal influences that produce the greatest & most lasting effect. My ongoing adventure with the barrier has rewarded me place & time to be completely present & content, knowing if there was more to life, here & now I am happier with less.

My fave adventure destination: Hooker Valley Track

The adventure starts the minute you turn into Mt Cook Road and head towards Aoraki/Mt Cook village. No matter the season, Hooker Valley Track never disappoints. Stunning landscape views, Muller Glacier, Hooker Lake, and of course if you’re lucky enough to be there on a clear day, spectacular views of Aoraki/Mt Cook peak.

Crocs and adventure are a no-brainer! Just hook them on your pack and go exploring. There’s nothing greater than slipping off your hiking boots and socks after a day of adventuring and slipping your feet into a pair of Crocs. Or better still, ditch the hiking boots altogether and just wear your Crocs!!
