Equipped with his sister’s hand-me-down skateboard and a profound desire to make a difference, Element’s founder, Johnny Schillereff is foremost an avid skateboarder. In the late 90s he created Element. Originally channelling women’s clothing, as the company grew, so did the reach of its audience – branching out into men’s apparel and all the diverse lifestyles that surround it.
