Description
For our Social Media Specialist role, we’re looking for someone to develop our customer journey through social media; “owning” our strategy & driving its evolution.
We’re after a creative, trend-savvy content creator to bring our brand to life across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and beyond. If you’re obsessed with our industry, know your way around fashion, across what’s trending before it trends, and can shoot, edit and produce scroll-stopping content, all while optimizing performance through paid media strategy - you’re who we’re looking for.
Your to do list will look a bit like:
• Develop our Social Media strategy and performance
• Creating fun, fresh and authentic content that speaks to our audience.
• Attending industry and social events for content
• Consistent and regular optimisation of our paid media performance and strategy
• Day to day running of social media channels – commenting, engaging, responding to customers and ensuring we are active and present.
• Writing engaging copy for social as well as general marketing.
• Reporting on marketing performance including key social media metrics.
• Working cross-teams to deliver a concise and targeted marketing message
The right person for this role will be both a doer and a thinker; someone who can think critically and analyse effectively but can also get their hands dirty, getting things done in a fast-paced environment.
You will have a couple of years’ experience working within a Marketing Department, with an understanding of all these buzz-words:
• Google Ad Words Search and Remarketing & PMAX.
• Google Analytics.
• Facebook CPC and CPA.
• Social media - boosted posts, organic content, UGC, influencers.
• ROAS / ROI performance.
Our ideal candidate will tick the following boxes:
• Tertiary qualified in Marketing, Communications or Business.
• 2+ years’ experience in a Social Media role (ideally in retail)
• Proven experience driving social media following and engagements
• Demonstrated skill in producing and editing creative content
• Proficient with social media platforms
• Vibrant, friendly people person comfortable working sole charge and in a tight knit team.
• Passion for retail fashion, clothing, footwear.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Google Analytics a bonus.
North Beach is already kind of a big deal - and were growing! - 11 stores across the North Island, multiple new stores opening soon, and a huge online presence.
This is a full time role working Monday to Friday 7:30am-4:30pm based in our Albany Head Office where you’ll be working alongside our E-commerce, Buying and Creative teams.
