AIRFRYER PASTA CHIPS
If there’s anything TikTok is good for, it’s learning the several ways you can utilise the beloved air fryer. We reckon the air fried pasta chips have got to be one of the most interesting food hacks we’ve seen on TikTok so we gave it a try!
You simply need:
- Dried pasta
- Olive oil
- Your choice of seasonings, we used both onion and garlic powder plus Italian seasoning
- Grated parmesan cheese
Start by boiling your pasta as per then drain and coat with olive oil. Sprinkle over your choice of seasonings plus a whole lotta cheese (don’t be shy). Place in the air fryer until golden brown and crunchy (around 15 mins). DING - you’re good to snnnnack. Mhmmmmm.
HOME-MADE RAMEN
Forget about regular noodles, you’ll wanna reach for this creamy style ramen everytime you crave ‘em. You can ‘spice’ up your ramen with just a few simple ingredients you’re bound to have lying around the house.
You will need:
- An egg
- Shin Ramyun noodles
- Spring onions
- Kewpie mayo
Start by cracking an egg in a bowl followed by the flavouring sachets from the noodle packet. Add a generous squirt of mayo and the chopped spring onions into the bowl then mix to combine. Cook your noodles on the stove following the instructions on the packet. Once cooked, add a splash of noodle water to your spice bowl and mix well. You can now add all your noodles and remaining water to your spice bowl. Mix to combine and ENJOY!
OVERNIGHT HEATLESS 'BLOWOUT' HAIR HACK
Yup… you read that right. According to TikTok you can get a heatless blowout at home by sleeping with a dressing gown draw cord in ya hair - wooowee. To do this, you’ll wanna grab your robe’s waist tie (or something similar) and place it on your head so you’ve got length on either side of your head (make sure your hair is slightly damp). Split your hair in half at the back and tie one side so it's out of the way. Start wrapping a small strand of hair around the tie adding hair to each piece as you go down. Secure with a scrunchie when you get to the end. Repeat on the opposite side and get those ZZZZZ’s. In the morning carefully take out the tie and run your fingers through the curls to loosen. Obsessed with the results!? ‘Cause we are.
If you’re looking for something to do this lockdown - give these hacks a go. You never know, you might never need to get a blow out or eat soggy pasta ever again. Yeeeooow.
